This program is intended to provide an overview of the success of the Northern District’s ADR and Mandatory Mediation Program.  Magistrate Judge Dancks will provide the audience with a brief overview of the program, focusing on statistics evidencing the results of participation in the program.  Seasoned mediators will round out the panel to provide practical insight into how to successfully navigate mediations with the best chances of success for your clients.  The panelists will also discuss strategies and considerations that will help you to best advise clients in obtaining the most out of settlements.

The Northern District of New York Federal Court Bar Association has been certified by the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board as an Accredited Provider of continuing legal education in the State of New York.

NDNY ADR/Mandatory Mediation Program:  Lessons Learned, Tips from Mediators and Settlement Considerations has been approved in accordance with the requirements of the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board for 2 hours of CLE credit, including 1.5 credits for Law Practice Management and .5 credit for Ethics and Professionalism.

A code will be provided at a particular point in the program, which can be used to claim CLE credit for participation in the webinar.

This program is appropriate for newly admitted and experienced attorneys. This is a single program.  No partial credit will be awarded.

This program is complimentary to all Northern District of New York  Federal Court Bar Association Members.
