Application for the 2014 Hon. Frederick J. Scullin, Jr. Scholarship Program

In December 2005, the Northern District of New York Federal Court Bar Association (“the Association”) established The Honorable Frederick J. Scullin, Jr. Scholarship Program to recognize exemplary law students who attend Albany Law School, Cornell University College of Law, and Syracuse University College of Law. In calendar year 2014, the Association will select three (3) scholars, one from each school, each of whom will receive a scholarship in the sum of $1,500. Students currently in their second year of law school are eligible to apply.

Interested students may submit their applications electronically to the Scholarship Program Chairs, Doreen A. Simmons, Esq. (dsimmons@hancocklaw.com) and Jeffrey E. Hurd, Esq. (jeff@bsmhlawfirm.com) by October 29, 2014. The Scholarship Program Chairs will interview applicants under consideration during the first two weeks of November 2014 and will notify the selected scholars shortly thereafter. The Association will formally acknowledge the selected students at its Annual Meeting on December 4, 2014, in Syracuse, New York.
