Criminal Pretrial Motion Practice and Federal Criminal Law Update

The focus will be on criminal pretrial motions, with sections on practice issues (e.g., which motions to bring; whether to seek a pre-motion conference with the AUSA); procedural issues (e.g., when do I need supporting affidavits, when am I entitled to a hearing); and substantive issues (with segments on the law relating to the key types of typical motions). The program will include a brief segment on new developments (including new retroactive guidelines amendments). The program will conclude with an interactive judges panel. (3.0 credits for Professional Practice)
